I don't see anyone as my competitor. It's easy to get wrapped up in the idea that all producers have the time to spy on other stores and copy their videos, but that's not something I've ever done for anything in my life. Granted, there are producers out there who are insecure about their work who do engage in such petty activities, but it's typically new comers to the industry. In my opinion, my content, lighting and shooting type is completely different from anyone else out there. Just like in the world, there are those who follow and those who lead. I've always been a leader and marched to the beat of my own drummer.

A Trip Down Memory Lane: 11yr Anniversary Modeling

When I tell people that I have been modeling since I was 17-years-old they seem shocked, but mostly think i am exaggerating. I had someone tell me that the Guest of Honor position for FetishCon is chosen by years in the business and I didn't have enough experience to be considered - alright then! That came as a shock to me because I've been shooting for almost as long as many of the guests of honors, have a huge fan base, and have shot with almost everyone in fetish, fashion, and art on the east coast. Even some of the newer models will tell me about who they shot with and how good friends they are only to be shocked when I say, "Wow, I knew them since 2002!" Have I gone full-tilt head first into slathering my face all over the Internet? No, I haven't, which is why I am still here and more successful than ever. Everything in moderation! I do have days where I feel old, I am 28 now, but I decided to dig into the Angelique Kithos vault and share some memories of my modeling adventures! Enjoy! :)

2000 - Age 17

2001 - Age 18
This was when i first started shooting fetish and nudes! I had no skills and hardly talked during shoots. I used lots of fake names and had no idea of the world! I would show up at abandoned houses and shoot in 20-degrees. A lot of these shots were photographed in freezing temps, with film, and paid only $50hr.

This shot here is from my first bondage shoot with DetectiveChronicles.com. I got really scared during the shoot because he wanted to cut my bra off! I don't think i even showed up with any makeup on my face! Oh, have times changed!

2002 - Age 19
These shots are from my first unchaperoned trip to NYC to do fetish and nude modeling. Feetfair.com was my very first foot fetish shoot! I think I was model number 4 or 5 for them? LOL I also got my very first pedicure too! It was a pink/lavender and I'll always remember.

I actually always liked Israel Colon. I know a lot of models had issues with him, but he was always very pleasant and nice to me. Maybe it was because I was also a fashion agency model at this time too, so he didn't want to piss me off? LOl Who knows!

This last photo is by Randall Wirth and we shot in Chelsea. He was pretty awesome and smoked pot during the shoot. He took some of my first pretty lingerie photographs!

2003 - Age 20
This was a fun year for me with modeling. I was spending a lot of time in Miami and testing with Ford Models. Testing means I was on their "testing board" and didn't get paid jack! I shot with Albert Ortega at a place called, Jimbos where all the playboy models shot. it was pretty cool!

During this time I was also shooting a lot with Rodney Young in the DC metro area. I had a mini-paysite of sorts, so we were shooting some erotica art stuff for that.

2004 - Age 21
Woohoo! I can finally drink! LOL So, what did i do one drunken night? I chopped all my hair off and donated it to charity. It was quite liberating of an experience and gave me the self-confidence I needed as a young woman. A lot of women will hide behind their hair as a security blanket and that's what I had been doing most of my life. My hair was what I had that made me feel pretty. Without, i felt as if I could conquer the world! :)

2006 - Age 23
During this time I was shooting a lot more fetish art and lingerie. I shot still with a couple close fetish producers. I was traveling mostly in the North East. I remember during this time I was supposed to shoot a smoking fetish video in CT, Draggin' Ladies or something like that, I drove up there and they flaked on me for a 5hr booking. I was so upset and lost a bunch of money in travel expenses.

2007 - Age 24
This time I was shooting more fetish and art, more than fashion. I was shooting everything from mermaid fetish, to feet, to stockings, to pantyhose! I lived in Charleston, SC at the time, but it seemed that I was always back home in Maryland, in Philly, or in NYC shooting!

2008 - Age 25
I had a model who I was good friends with, we'll call her bitch face, give me some horrible advice. She pretty much still is doing the same shit she was when she started so a lot of good her advice has done her! When I turned 25 she told me that I needed to start lying about my age because people wouldn't want to hire me because i was too old. It seemed so weird because I didn't feel old! I took her horrible advice and started saying I was 22. LOL Now I just don't give a fuck! Thinking back on it now, she was partially right. People don't want to hire older models who have no modeling skills and bring nothing to a shoot except the same old tired face seen on millions of other wannabe models. During this time is when I really started to connect with the camera on a whole new level. I am Kithos!

2009 - Age 26
During this time something was happening to me emotionally. I wasn't happy in my relationship and I had just moved to the Raleigh-Durham area. Bitchface encouraged me to embrace my friends and pack up and move to Raleigh so we could hang out together more. Funny thing is that she never really wanted to hang out until I came back from a big trip. Then it was lunch and asking me about paid contacts. I was too naive to see that she was never really my friend. I often felt alone during this time and spent a lot of my time on the road. I had dropped my credit hours at school to only 2 classes and ended up failing most of them. My boyfriend at the time was fucking god knows what and spending every last bit of money I was making on either video games or pot. I'll refer to these years as my dark years. This year was also when I first met my future husband for the first time ever. I told him that he was like a bulldozer who came into my life, plowing down everything it his way to throw me sunshine and rainbows. I was on cloud 9 and as happy as can be. I instantly feel in love with him and wanted to be with him forever and ever! When I shared my love with people I got so many mixed reactions. Bitchface, my then best friend told me that i was too happy to be around and that she avoided me because she wanted her own "teddies." I thought how strange and peculiar that she wasn't happy for me being happy. Other men told me that he'd never marry a "person like me" because I was too young and he was 16 years my senior. I was heartbroken and still held on hoping for the best. During Fetish Con 2009 I was hired by a photographer, Thor from Kansas City, who told me that I was a whore and men, like my now husband, would never be interested in marrying me. Then he asked me if he could pay me for sex. Ummmm no. I am not a prostitute. If any models give this guy a good reference then he probably paid them for sex. The below shot was not shot by that tool, but rather by Asylum in DC. :)

2010 - Age 27
This was the year when I learned to stop being afraid and to stand up for myself. I was always taken advantage of by people and I had enough. As soon as I put my foot down, so many of my "friends" disappeared, but only to be replaced with new friends. I found my voice and started getting my life back on track. I told myself that I wasn't going to slum for cash and I would have respect for myself. No more shitty hotel room shoots, meeting in parks, or posing for some jerk. I no longer was afraid of what people would think of me if I made my voice heard. Boy! Did I cause some issues! LOL I booted out bitchface from my life once and for all. After not seeing her for almost 6 months because I was "too happy" she came over to my house for dinner with Kerri Taylor. Instead of catching up, she spent the entire evening talking about how she's shooting with Christina Carter and doing forced orgasms on some dirty perverts bed. I felt very betrayed that she had no interest in catching up and wanted to talk business and do what I guess she thought was bragging. As soon as I turned my back to clean up the meal that I purchased, she was trying on my engagement ring and trying to entice Ted into hiring her. She's so disconnected from the world that her content is shit. I can't give her videos away for free! LOL Anyway, it was apparent, besides being classless, that bitchface was a lost soul and just very sad and unhappy with herself and her life. Even though I always pitied her, she wasn't the type of person I needed as a friend.

2011 - Age 28
This year has been an exciting year for me. I had a ton of publications and I never even had to leave Raleigh! I got smart about my modeling and started submitting myself to magazines and contests. I believe in me and I think I am talented! I also started producing my own fetish content and shooting what I liked, instead of what other people wanted me to shoot. I got a gigantic rock on my finger and a beautiful formal wedding despite people telling me it would never happen. I get to graduate in a month with a 2nd college degree and I am 100% control over my income and finances. I have two great dogs, a husband and business partner, and a great house to shoot in whenever. I don't live hand to mouth anymore and I don't have to pretend to like people to get shoots. These days I like people because I like them! Not depending on booking one shoot after the next in order to survive has been liberating. I am my own woman now. I am now questioning if whether or not the industry has jaded me at all. It's hard to know who to trust and who likes me for me. I heard that someone told a friend of mine that "I am always mad at someone." I don't know if this is really true at all these days. I always feel so happy. What I realized is that I have voiced my displeasure with models and photographers freely who have lied to me or caused unnecessary drama in my life. 2011 has been mostly about Jack McNaughton/Shakeshift lying to me about photographers and models as a way to get me to publicly bash them while playing innocent as I take the heat. He is a professional and I respect him. He is the one who got me shooting superheroine content and I still consider him the best mentor I ever had. Unfortunately, he's just like bitchface and all the other jerks: Looking out for number one! I look out for myself, true, but I am also very caring and trusting of my friends. In a way I am still like the naive little girl that existed in 2000. I look at it now that this is a business and nothing is personal. I am not here to make friends, alienate people, or be made into someone's puppet.

What is more degrading as a model: Fetish versus Fine Art Modeling

**Please note that just with anything else in the world, there are exceptions. I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with wonderful art photographers and models. I only wish that there were more of them in the art modeling industry.** :)

A model-friend recently told me about a workshop she attended, that was fine art nude based, where she was singled out for being a “porn” model. This prompted me to feel both angry and humorous. Why humor? The feeling of humor is quite simple. When I first started modeling, I didn’t start off shooting all fetish and glamour content. Fetish content was slowly introduced into my modeling content diet. I have been shooting fine art since I started modeling of almost eleven years ago. What I have seen and experienced in that particular genre may be surprising to most people. While I was creating beautiful pieces of art, there were also times where I as degraded instead of being idolized. The world of fine art modeling is mixed with posing for great artists in lavish studios and beginner “artists” in shitty motel rooms or their homes. To me, it is more degrading as a woman to pose for a guy on his couch than it is to make fetish and glamour videos on a professional set.

The idea that fetish and/or glamour modeling is porn, degrading, and sleazy is such a closed-minded perception of that industry. These opinions are often shared by modeling industry people who have never shot that content. I can tell you now that the glamour and fetish production sets are far more respectable and professional than any of these art sets fine art models will experience. The women who shoot fetish and glamour “porn” content have a back-bone and are respected for their talent, drive, and personality rather than their tits and ass like most art models. Any girl can walk in off the street into a studio and be hidden in the “respectable” shadows; yet it takes beauty, talent, and charisma to shoot fetish and glamour content. In the fetish and glamour industry women run the show and it is all about what they bring to the camera and their creativity in dialogue, and in contrast, fine art it’s about the body parts that are accentuated and objectified by the photographer. This objectification seems to be acceptable by so many fine art models and played-up to get more work through overtly sexual and flirty behavior.

Some of the more loose women and slutty photographers I have encountered have been in the fine art industry. I am 100-percent serious about this perception. Fine art models are more likely to be turned-on by the talented artist and the artists more attracted to their “muse” than in any other modeling content area. There’s a god-complex illusion that fuels this behavior within the two individuals. Both parties are often convinced that they have an artistic spiritual connection, they fuck, and then reality sets-in and they move on to the next. The stories I have heard about art models have appalled and disgusted me. Getting back rubs after photo shoots, drinking all night alone with the photographer, running around nude while staying with the photographer, having photographers fondle them between sets, and sleeping in the photographers more comfortable bed because they want to be re-hired. Sex typically doesn’t happen, but it’s well-known that art models are more likely to put-out than fetish or glamour models.

At this point you must be wondering two things: Why are some art models such sluts and how is it that I became the expert of this slutty behavior? The answer is quite simple, I was a little slut as an art model haha. I was deep in the art community for a long time, dated art photographers, was good friends with art-only models, and became privy to some private information. While the fetish and glamour industry is saturated with self-assured and confident models, the fine art industry is the exact opposite. Art models have some of the worst confidence in the modeling industry. They are stuck between being too short for fashion and not sexy enough for glamour modeling. They typically do not have the characteristics found with traditional models and are often boy-shaped with no breasts. This skinny boy shape is crushing to an ego. Thus, skinny and frail models lacking womanly assets must express their sexuality in more self-destructive ways in order to build their confidence. They thrive on being idolized and told how pretty they are. Art models hate and despise fetish and glamour models for one very reason: They are jealous that they don’t have the self-love, respect, and confidence found with fetish and glamour “porn” models. Art models are not the only ones envious. Art photographers have envy too.

Some of the professional art photographers I have worked with have been the more degrading to me than fetish producers. Like I said before, they objectify women for their body parts and capture that in their camera. Don’t get me wrong, I could care less if I am objectified and will happily still shoot fine art images. What I can’t stand is the opinions art photographers have on fetish producers. Art photographers will refer to professional fetish producer’s work as being lazy hack-jobs because it’s often shot with video-appropriate lighting. Why such animosity towards fetish? It became apparent to me after speaking to some art photographer friends that the animosity isn’t from poor lighting or lazy shooting. This disdain is from the large amount of money fetish producer’s make and the willingness of their models to act out their fantasies. Most art photographers hide behind the "art mask" and will push their sexual deviant side on models once they become closer friends or feeding them alcohol. To me, fetish producers are more upfront about their intentions than art photographers who have not yet come to terms publicly with their fetishes.

Art photographers and models make next to no money off of their “art” and most will never publish a book or go beyond creating pretty pictures. Some will get some art publications and maybe a check for a couple hundred dollars, but none will come close to the 5-30K monthly income generated by some of the more well-known fetish and glamour producers and models. I would be pissed off too if I could hardly make my rent even after touring the country and being degrading by men. I am sure there’s much disdain towards me from some the art modeling community.

While I think it’s endearing that the idea that I have gotten fat and mostly “shooting porn” these days is, I am sure, discussed, I could not be happier. I am in control of my content and I make money off of me for my ideas and stories. The models I shoot with are fun and it’s like a slumber party at every shoot. The idea of sisterhood is embraced and unlike art models, it isn’t as cut-throat for shoots or back-stabbing. For illustration purposes, I will supply some photographic evidence.

During this art shoot, the photographer, while shooting, asked me, “So you call your pussy a cookie, what do you call a hard throbbing cock?”

During this particular art shoot, the photographer was telling he how fat and out of shape I was. After beating me down for a good solid hour said to me, “So you want to go get some dinner, catch a movie, and hang out and get drunk after this?”

Earlier this month a model co-worker I am following on Twitter had advertised one of those, "Vote for me" links. I was feeling generous and happy that day, so I decided to follow her link over and send her some votes. After I approved the Playboy Magazine Miss Social application on Facebook, I saw that I was entered into this contest that i never heard of before. I figured, that since i was already approved and registered and in 15th place, I would just go with the flow. It's amazing because that's how the majority of my modeling career has gone thus far.

I started modeling because a photographer found me working in a science retail store selling telescopes and said he'd love to have me do his fine art workshops. I figured, "Hey why not see what happens!" 11 years and 1000+ photographers later I am still modeling. I am not sure if I just have good luck of if I am so aloof to the fact that I have talent.

Let's get back to the main topic and stop discussing memories of the past. I am in the contest and just giving it about 60% of my attention. Lets me real here, I am a busy person that juggles lots of different responsibilities. I can't babysit a contest 24-7 and do everything else as well. This month has been crazy with this Playboy contest. My votes kept climbing and climbing and i am moving up the ranks. I am posting advertisement to my fans and my votes keep climbing. I eventually make it to the semi-finals for the contest, but I am out of town all weekend shooting with my fav person MJR so I don't know what's happening with the contest. I got back into town late last night and I see in ym email box this morning that I made it to the Playboy Miss Social finals and that I have three stacks of interviews i have to fill out for the promotion of the contest. Eeekk!

I am convinced that I am either just really lucky, have lots of fans who hacked the system, or I just have the best luck in the world. Superheroine Fetish: This place could use a bit more class!

I recently decided to start a separate clips4sale store that featured Superheroine fetish clips only. This is now completely separate from my smorgasbord of fetish clips located at my old store. Why did I decide to go this route exactly? Well, it is quite simple: I love comic books and sci-fi. Do I need the money I make off these clips? Kind of, but I do not care if I live in poverty as long as I have the people I love with me. Sure, I am a broke college student, but money is not my main motivation.

My motivation is that I see other studios throw their clips together with zero planning. It is disgusting, actually, how little thought from most producers goes into making superherione fetish clips. I saw the same thing repeatedly: Hot girl in costume, shitty apartment backdrop, ugly bedspreads, dirty couches, and cheap hotels. I asked myself, “Do SHiP fans really enjoy the clips thrown together haphazardly by some random dude with too much money?" It became apparent to me that the producers whom, “have so many beautiful friends,” willing to come over to be masturbated by some shifty dude in his living room, is insulting to the fans of Superheroine fetish and degrading to the fetish model industry. I don’t care much for little-boy pissing matches, but the superheroine world of fetish is filled with that crap. Little do viewers know the drama that goes on backstage with the organization and production of this fetish genre clips.

There’s the classic type of producer who is deeply insecure, but has way too much money, “I can get my model friends to do “special forced-orgasms and fondle their tits because I throw $700/day to them.” Chances are in that scenario that you take away the money and your “close model friends” will disappear. Those models are motivated by greed and the producer motivated by fulfilling this desire to feel important. The second type is the, “I desperately want to be accepted in the fetish community, so I’ll hire only the models of my competitors.” This second type seriously pisses me off. As a model, these producers will try to pull you into the middle of this pissing match and go to great lengths to claim ownership over you by bragging in forums and trying to hire you right after you work with their "arch nemesis." The last producer type, where I fall into, is the female-backed superheroine studio. This closely resembles what superheroine fetish is all about: Strong females, who love sci-fi and comic books, doing what they love to do by kicking ass and taking names. Some of the more successful studios at Clips4Sale show this powerhouse of female producer’s success. You can tell by looking at their clips that the models want to be there out of interest in producing the clips and not because some guy is paying them large amounts of cash.

Am I still a pervert that likes to see girls get off at shoots? Sure I am and I would be lying if I said that I did not enjoy having hot fetish models, who are actually my friends, come over and let me fondle them. I write stories for my clips weeks ahead of time, go out and custom make my costumes for the shoot, and then will try to make a video set that matches the clip. In reality, I am a little boring and pretty normal, but I know what I like and I like what I do! The process of going from little Suzy homemaker living in the suburbs to a vivacious superheroine is in itself like being a superheroine with an alter-ego.

With that being said, I have many exciting clips coming up in the future. Some clips will be with models, and some with a male-villain and me. I wish that I could have more models to come to North Carolina to shoot, but unfortunately, this area has some cheap-ass producers and flakes. I don’t believe in trying to lure models to shoot for free or trade, unless they insist on that arrangement, so I am limited by finances and the good charity of my fans. So . . . if anyone has any type of custom video requests with certain models, let me know and we can arrange for a production starring me and your model of choice!

I guess there's web analysts people for porn companies that find hot models that are searched on a lot and put them into the google search tags for a site.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with porn or porn actresses. I know lots of girls who decided to shoot porn. For me, I don't want to shoot porn. Not because I think I am better or anything like that, but I think the intimacy between me and my partner should be kept private and off the Internet. I guess I am old fashioned that way.

In light of those recent discoveries, this blog will have a bunch of REAL pictures of me to counteract all the crap photos out there of people pretending to be me.

Superhero Shooting

They had me paired up with the beautiful and talented model, Kendra James, who is an absolute sweetheart to work with! It just proves my theory that the nicest models in the world are the most secure ones. After dealing with crazy models the last couple of weeks, it was a breath of fresh air to work with such a professional. I was thinking about asking my significant other if we could hire her for the day where I can shoot her for my photography.

I also did a custom video for Dawnstar Productions where I was caught in a bomb-blast. It was pretty neat to use my modeling skills for these photos of peril.

With such great experiences working with this company over the last 3 years and having to only deal with the great models whenever I am hired by them, has made me come to this decision that I am not interested in working with any superhero companies that are any less professional. That means that all my recent superhero content can only be seen on Dawnstar/L.A.W. The drama that I've been having to deal with some of these other companies is just way too much. I just don't have the free time to devote to crazy people with no lives. While Dawnstar/L.A.W. have an interest in producing quality content, some of the other companies just use it as an excuse to get free feels on models. Honestly, they should be hiring escorts and not models. Seriously though, I am not just a fetish model, I shoot fine art images most of the time, then glamor nudes, and then *ACTUAL* commercial modeling, otherwise known as "real modeling" on the Internet. I am not some loser wannabe model sitting around at home, devising plans of attack of how to fuck people over on YouTube or some silly forum board. I am actually busy with real work. Yes, those last couple of snide comments are directed towards this nit-wit amateur porn model who has been trashing my good name recently. She gets jealous of any model she comes into contact with who can be successful by not having to revert to her amateur method of paying her trailer-park rent by getting gang-banged on the Internet. There's nothing more I hate than pure trash polluting this industry with drama and looking for any excuse to be a dumb bitch. Behavior like that is not only childish, but it drives a firm stake between women uniting to be stronger and more productive. Catty behavior is anti-feminism at its best.

Almost a year since I posted. I've been hiding in a cave last couple of months that was filled with school books and anger management pamphlets. Well, maybe not he anger management pamphlets. Hehe After being a target of some crazy insecure models that wanted to fuck with my internet life, I decided to take a step back and shut the doors. The stalkers seem to have found new targets of interest, so I am happy to be off the radar.

Lets see, i start classes next week, then one more semester until i graduate. I am working on a clips4sale store and a new web site where I can sell art prints and advertise custom videos. I am waiting to hear back from Hustler Magazine and Penthouse about a couple features they contacted me for. Fingers crossed! :D

I entered OMP's Lingerie contest with the only expectation of getting more traffic to my profile. I've always done this for all of their competitions since I have been a member since 2001. To my surprise, I got an email yesterday morning saying that I won the contest. I beat out well established models! It's pretty unreal! I won a free membership and $500. Now I can buy my video camera to start my naughty movies for clip4sale.

Atlanta Trip

Atlanta was fun! I shot with a couple great people.
First was Seth Ruff. We shot this neat series.
I also shot with Sillyfilms.com and PedalSupreme.com, but I am not sure if the videos are posted yet on those web sites. I enjoyed SillyFilms.com! This was the first time I ever had pies smashed onto my face. I loved it!

My last shoot, was with Mike Cartel. I didn't know it, but apparently there was tornado warnings all around. I was hustling trying to make it to this shoot in the pouring rain and wind. Once I got there, he was like "you know there's like tornadoes touching down all over Atlanta, right?". Go me for being ubber professional and not canceling. LOL We shot some candid nudes that turned out really cute!

Over The River and Through The Woods

I forgot what a great feeling it is to run completely on adrenalin, granola bars, and energy drinks. The past week and a half I’ve been doing nothing but driving and shooting. I drove a total of 2600 miles for shooting and visiting with friends.

My first shoot was with Jim Phelps. It is always a pleasure getting to work with Jim and we shot some interesting ideas. He likes to use a fisheye lens for some of his sessions, so he always takes these images where my nose looks huge. Having unflattering photos makes me feel like a real person, so it's good to keep me level-headed. It is important for people to understand that models are real people with flaws just like everyone else. Because of that, I can't be too bothered by it. It's best not to take life too seriously. After-all, you’re helping someone create a piece of art so who cares if you don’t look your greatest.

My evening shoot was with a bondage photographer Moraxia n. He is someone that I’ve been trying to work with for years, but just never found a mutually convenient time. He was such a delight to work with! Even though shooting bondage and fetish content isn't something I do frequently, I really liked the photos we took and I hope that I’ll get another chance to work with him in the future.

Another photographer worth mentioning is Richard Perkins. I worked with him for the first time back in 2004 when he was just starting out. I was the 2^nd model that he shot with, but you would never know it then since he shot some great photos of me! Now, working with him almost 4 years later, he’s worked with tons of models! He has begun to develop his personal style. I always thought he had a great eye, so I knew that it would be only a matter of time before he became serious about photography. Shooting with him for this trip was a delight. I felt like such a little doll! J The couple of images he sent me were very sultry and sexy. I didn’t know I could look that hot!

After all of the MD/VA/DE shooting I headed up north to the State College, PA area. I have a good friend from high school that I try to visit with whenever I am in the area. The house is amazingly quiet and comfortable. Time ceases to exist there in the mountains and the next thing you know you’re drinking wine and talking at 3AM! The weather was pretty crappy the day before I headed up north, so I ended up getting snowed inside. There is no better way to get snowed-in when the house you’re staying at is incredibly beautiful.

After visiting with my friend for a couple days, I headed 2 hours west. I drove through the “Wilds of Pennsylvania” and had a very pleasant and bitterly cold drive to Clearfield, PA.

There I worked with my long time good photographer friend Marcus Ranum in his extremely cold studio – it might have been 40 degrees. His work is incredibly amazing! He is an active member on DeviantArt.com and takes stock photos for the digital artists to use. That’s always something we shoot for when we work together. Granted I feel silly wearing these funny outfits, but it’s something interesting and different from the norm of looking hot and sexy in lingerie.

After all of the silly photos, we shot some more fine art nudes. Hopefully my monitor didn’t fuck these up too bad. I always feel so incredibly beautiful whenever I shoot with him. He has such a great way of showing off my body’s curves in a flattering way. He’s on my list of top 3 photographers.

After all of the running around and shooting, I finally was able to make my long 13-hour journey back south. I drove through Martinsburg, WV where I was born and had a very nostalgic feeling. I drove through the hills of western VA and had such an amazing drive seeing the countryside. The feeling I felt driving alone through this mountain region is indescribable. It inspired me to become a better person and to try harder. Making a 13 hour drive by myself and driving thousands of miles to pursue something I enjoyed has empowered me. I no longer feel like I simply exist in a world, but rather I exist in MY WORLD and I have the power to do the things I enjoy. Too long have I followed rules carefully and exact. It is time to live and to quit being scared. I am going to live for me. Fuck everyone else. It’s my time to shine.

My Lunch is In A Brown Bag

I just finished up my two day orientation for my new school. I have never seen a place as beautiful as this school. In the middle of a busy city, there’s this hidden gem of a school with a secret garden type of feel. With stone buildings, cobblestone walkways, ivy all around, and shaded by old oak trees, the feeling is very surreal. It is a huge difference from my last school. With its abundance of concrete and ornamental grass, the vibe was that you had no other choice but to go to this shitty community college. Now after years of hard work, I have earned my way to this amazing school. I am excited about continuing my education there.

Holiday Knitted Sweaters & Airports

I hate traveling during the holidays. It seems that every single Midwestern white person comes out and decides to fly. They crowd the airports with their holiday knitted sweaters, over-sized carry on, screaming children and aloof look. Being able to read a sign that states, “remove all electronics from bag” or “no liquids larger than 3oz” is too much for these people. Not only must one wait for these ignorant republican breeders to figure out how to separate their items for security, but then you have to hear them argue about taking off their shoes, belt and coat as if they are entitled to more respect then the rest of the travelers because they voted for Bush twice. After a hellish security line, I changed plans in Philadelphia and then had to take a small plane to my final destination. The plan was fairly small and on top of the heat and smell of sweaty holiday travelers, there was a little girl screaming Christmas carols in the back for the 45 minute flight. Oh joy!

Despite the hellish first part of my travel, the rest of my trip was nothing but good stuff. On my way back home after having an amazing time shooting and visiting, I felt relaxed and ready to take on the holiday travelers. Armed with a good mood and a pair of headphones, my trip back to South Carolina was very pleasant. I sat quietly and observed the busy world around me. Going to the middle-of-nowhere-PA makes me feel very Zen.
